#IWOKEUPLIKETHIS: 5 MINUTES WITH CHANEL STEWART

CHANEL STEWART MODEL INTERVIEW

1.  What is the very first thing that you do when you wake up?

Check my phone to see what time it is. I never want to be late for jobs or castings so always wanting to know what the time is.

2. Talk us through your morning beauty regime?

First on the list would be to make my self a cup of tea. I love to drink it as I do my hair and makeup for the day, it’s the perfect way to wake me up in the morning. I will then use my cleanser that has peppermint and tea tree extracts that draws all the oils and cleanse the pores after a big night (…of beauty sleep). With heavy makeup being applied each day I shoot, it is really important for me to use a cleanser that really gets in there and does the job!

I will then spritz my face with Rosewater, followed by applying Chanel’s Hydra Beauty Moisturizer (my absolute favourite product!).

From there, I will add on, pending on the day ahead. If I was to head to a casting, I’d probably opt for a lightweight makeup coverage.  Otherwise, for a shoot, I usually would turn up completely fresh-faced ready for a makeup artist to work their magic when I arrive.

3. What do you do to prepare mentally for the day?

When I wake up I usually do a mental check as to what I am shooting for and what I need to bring to the table.  It’s all about getting my A game on! My mindset is to work hard throughout the day and enjoy it no matter how hard it starts to become (shooting swimwear in under 5 degrees is often the time where I am most challenged).  However, I know I am always in good hands with the team I am working with so that always makes me excited for the day ahead.

4. What is your breakfast of choice?

Smoothies!! I am “on-the-go” pretty early so I need something fast and wholesome. I have an amazing combination of berries, chia seeds, Udo’s Beyond Green Blend (add it to your smoothie, its one of the best things to put into your body) LSA, protein and other little goodies that I randomly add to the mixture.

5. As a model you are consistently travelling and living out of hotel rooms. Have you got a particular training program that you can do anywhere at anytime?

It’s a blessing being able to travel so much with work so I enjoy exploring my new surroundings with a run around the area. When “on-the-go”, I always know to bring my skipping rope. It’s a great way to get the heart rate up in a small hotel room! If I am training indoors, I like to do a circuit with the skipping rope, squats, lunges, ab holds, and last but not least, burpees.

6. When it comes to deciding what to wear in the morning, do you plan ahead?

No not really, each day is different so it’s hard to plan ahead. Some days I will need to dress very formal for an event and other days I opt for a great pair or jeans, white t-shirt and heels. It all depends on my agenda!
